Don’t wait! Act Now to Support Educational Programs at SLVHS
Have you donated yet to support the Cougar Club programs?
Thanks to the parents who already donated to the Cougar Club donation drive, we have raised over $2000 in donations! We are 40% of the way towards our goal of raising $5000, but we need your help to raise the rest and earn another $5000 in matching funds. We are asking each family to consider donating $20-100 (or more) and each donation will be doubled by an anonymous donor. All the money goes to support programs that benefit your children including college preparation and career readiness programs, college bus trips, and enrichment workshops and movies, and classroom equipment. We know you are all busy people. If we can reach our goal with donations from families then we don’t have to run fundraisers that take a lot of parent time or ask you to buy things you don’t need.
It’s easy and tax deductible due to the help of the San Lorenzo Valley Education Foundation. Go to www.slvfoundation.org/fund-education, scroll down to the SLV High School Cougar Club, and select the amount you want to donate. Donations of any amount are appreciated. You can also make a donation via check or cash to the “Cougar Parent Club” this can be mailed to the school (7105 Highway 9, Felton 95018) or dropped off at the office. Parent support and donations are what allow the Cougar Club to continue to provide programs and services to help ensure the success of our students, our teachers and our school.

This is a reminder that San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District policy, as set by the Board of Trustees, declares that we are a fragrant-neutral district. As we begin to have our drama performances and other site-based activities and meetings, please take care to follow the policies below for the sake of the students and members of our community who are highly allergic to fragrances and scents.
The SLVUSD Board of Trustees adopted a California School Board Association policy to make all district classrooms and offices fragrant neutral. SLVHS has parents, students, and community members with respiratory issues who can have negative reactions to fragrances. Please take care to follow the policy while on campus.
Staff and students shall refrain from bringing furred or feathered animals, stuffed toys that may collect dust mites, scented candles, incense or air fresheners and from using perfume or cologne, scented hair spray, nail polish or nail polish remover that are not fragrance-free in classrooms or other enclosed areas or buildings.
