This will be the last workshop in 2018 at SLVHS and is aimed to help Seniors and parents with their FAFSA and in understanding the different types of aid available. The students who attended the lunchtime workshop found it extremely valuable so don’t miss out on getting 1-1 help!
November 1st from 6:30 to 8 pm in the High School Library
RSVP Here. Any can show up the night of though.
Next Wednesday is Halloween and students and staff are welcome and encouraged to dress up.
We have some fun Halloween activities planned for lunchtime.
However, please make sure that costumes are appropriate for school. Here are a few tips:
School Dress Code Applies – Students with costumes that break dress code will need to change out of the costume
No weapons as props – No fake swords, knives, guns, spears, ninja stars, etc. No real ones either.
A student’s costume must allow for them to still sit at a desk or table and be able to do their schoolwork.
Thanks for getting it right before getting to school. That way, everybody has a good day.

Please Support Educational Enrichment Programs at SLVHS
We’re now over a month into our annual donation drive to support SLVHS Cougar Club and we’ve only raised just over half of our goal of $5000, which will be matched by a couple of generous anonymous donors. We need your support to be able to continue our many important programs and classroom equipment that benefit all your kids.
We’re asking you to donate whatever you can – $20, $100, or more. It all helps us support education at SLVHS. Go to www.slvfoundation.org/fund-education, scroll down to the SLV High School Cougar Club, and select the amount you want to donate. You can also make a donation via check or cash to the “Cougar Parent Club” this can be mailed to the school (7105 Highway 9, Felton 95018) or dropped off at the office.

This is a reminder that San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District policy, as set by the Board of Trustees, declares that we are a fragrant-neutral district. As we begin to have our drama performances and other site-based activities and meetings, please take care to follow the policies below for the sake of the students and members of our community who are highly allergic to fragrances and scents.
The SLVUSD Board of Trustees adopted a California School Board Association policy to make all district classrooms and offices fragrant neutral. SLVHS has parents, students, and community members with respiratory issues who can have negative reactions to fragrances. Please take care to follow the policy while on campus.
Staff and students shall refrain from bringing furred or feathered animals, stuffed toys that may collect dust mites, scented candles, incense or air fresheners and from using perfume or cologne, scented hair spray, nail polish or nail polish remover that are not fragrance-free in classrooms or other enclosed areas or buildings.
