From the Sophomore Counselor 5/8

Parents & students-

I hope you are all continuing to adjust to what seems like our new normal. Please do not start losing your motivation, we are so close to the end of the semester. Just a few updates for you all:

COE Summer School. For those students who want (or need) to take a summer school class through the County, please email me for more information. I will need to make a referral for students to ensure any class taken is an appropriate course for graduation requirements and future goals. The session will take place between June 29th and July 24th. Now's the time for those of you that wanted county PE to email me.
SLVHS Summer School.SLVHS is hoping to offer summer school again this year, however at this point in time all I can say is more information to come soon.

Cabrillo Summer & Fall Courses. The class schedule is released for summer and fall at Cabrillo. All summer classes will be held online even if the description states otherwise. Check out this video to help you with navigating Cabrillo's website. Attached is the Dual Enrollment Form & Suggested Courses For High School Students. Do not forget that if you turned in a dual enrollment form you still have to register for the desired course on May 20th.

AP Testing begins next week: Good luck to our group of AP Physics students who will be taking on the challenge next week.

I continue to wish you all well and hope you are maintaining good physical and mental health. Please continue to reach out as needed.
