Troxell, with music and vocal direction by Nicki Kerns, and is presented at the SLV Performing Arts Center. The story begins when a meek floral assistant, Seymour Krelborn, stumbles across a new breed of plant, which he subsequently names "Audrey II" after his co-worker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn, so long as he continues to feed it BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

WASC Accreditation Visit for SLVHS this Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
This Sunday through Wednesday, SLVHS will have visitors from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), which is the group that renews all high school accreditations every six years. They will be coming to see our school, our staff, our students, our parents, go into classrooms, meet with staff, students, and parents, and then decide on the accreditation status of the school.
SLVHS has been working hard for more than a year-and-a-half to create a 200-page report that was sent to WASC in January, as well as preparing for this visit. We are proud of our school and welcome feedback on how we can get better. Much thanks to Jennifer Ruby, who has served as our WASC Coordinator the past two years, led the staff through the process, and put together our report. We are ready to go and anxious for the visiting team to see our SLV Cougars in action.
Mask Mandate Information
The mandate for our schools to have students and staff wear masks at a school will end at 11:59 pm on Friday, March 11th.
Monday, March 14th will be the first school day this year that wearing a mask at school will be optional for students and staff.
The mask mandate was something that has been required for schools. After March 11th, it will no longer be required.
As this will now be a personal choice for each individual, we ask that people go out of their way to be respectful of that choice.
If you choose to wear a mask, please respect the choice of those who don't.
If you choose not to wear a mask, please respect the choice of those who do.
Everybody's situation is different, and let's give everyone the respect we would all like to receive.
