NO SCHOOL NEXT WEEK
Principal’s Message
from Jeff Calden
Have a Happy Thanksgiving Week
I hope everyone is able to take a bit of a rest from the day-to-day grind, relax a little, unwind a little, and do some things you enjoy with people you love.
That said - please remember that when you return from break, there are just three weeks of regular classes and then finals before the end of the First Semester.
Perhaps taking a peek at Schoology and spending a bit of your holiday time getting some schoolwork done to raise those grades could be another thing that helps you to relax a little as final semester grades approach. Have a safe and fun week away from school!
COVID Tests Being Sent Home with All Students this week
In order to maintain as safe an environment on campus as possible, we have provided additional home test kits to our SLVHS families.
We provided each high school student with two home test kits this week.
We recommend each student test the weekend before returning to school on Monday, November 28, 2022.
The second test would be used to test out after a positive test.
As families gather over the holiday, we are trying to limit exposure by having everyone test before they return to school.
If you do have a positive test result over break, please call the High School at 335-4425 - extension 206 - and leave a message with your information.
Thank you for helping us to keep the campus as safe as we can for all students and staff moving forward.
Home test kits are available for pick up in all of the school offices, as well as the District Office.
Please click on the following link Santa Cruz County Inspire Vaccine Clinics for information regarding COVID Vaccines including the bivalent boosters.
