SLVHS Cougar Newsletter - August 9, 2024

Principal’s Message

from Jeff Calden

The 2024-25 School Year is up and running!

And the year is off to a great start.

Lots of cool stuff going on in the classrooms.

Had a wonderful Senior Sunrise this morning and a spirited first Friday Funday at Lunch today with an epic game of musical chairs between the classes.

Next Week is our first full week of school

Monday is an ERA Day - which stands for Early Release A Day. ALL six classes meet on an A Day. A stands for ALL.  Early Release time is 2:01 pm.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are O Days.  O stands for ODD number classes 1/3/5.

Wednesdays and Fridays are E Days. E stands for EVEN number classes 2/4/6.

This is the main schedule of SLV High School and is in place nearly every five-day week.

Zero Period meets EVERY DAY of the WEEK at 7:00 am.

Each Friday Newsletter has the calendar below to show what next week looks like, along with any major school activities occurring that week.
