Dear Seniors and Parents,
Congratulations on surviving finals this week for your 7th semester of high school. You are nearing the finish line. Here's a few notes for over the break.
Mon Jan 6. Return from winter break.
Semester Grades. Students will be able to check Schoology over break to see how well they did in their classes. Please note, overall semester grades may not be finalized until Jan 7th. We will be mailing out report cards shortly after the grades close. Senior Contracts will be sent home shortly after that indicating exactly what classes students still have to complete to graduate.
Cabrillo classes for the Spring. There's still time to register for a class this spring at Cabrillo. Please see links in my previous email if you need help figuring out what steps you need to take. Cabrillo Welcome Center will be open today and tomorrow 8am-5pm. Open December 23 8am-2pm and reopens January 2nd.
Engineering 5. Interested in learning more about the profession of engineering? Cabrillo offers an awesome class, Engineering 5. Please see the attachment for more info and let me know if you want to sign up.
Sat Feb 1. Latino Role Model Conference. Cabrillo is hosting a free, 9am-1:30pm conference for students 6th grade and up and their parents. Come hear

STUDENTS WHO ARE APPLYING TO 4 YEAR COLLEGES: Please check your portal accounts for each school you have applied to. The colleges will let you know if they are missing anything. Remember you need to send official SAT or ACT scores to at least one CSU or UC. I cannot do that for you. If you do need my help with getting rec letters or transcripts sent from Naviance I will be checking my emails sporadically (which means it might take me a day or two to get back to you). I also love to hear when you get those acceptance letters so please let me know!!
POSSIBLE CABRILLO COLLEGE STUDENTS NEXT FALL: Next step for those of you who have registered for next fall is to go into your Cabrillo account and do your online orientation. Make a copy of the Certificate of Completion for our next meeting with Cabrillo. More information to come when we return about Cabrillo Honors and building your fall schedules.
