Due to the Public Safety Power Shutoff that PG&E has scheduled, ALL schools in the San Lorenzo Valley WILL BE CLOSED on Thursday, October 10th . If the power is restored on Friday, Oct.11, school will be in session. If the power remains off, school will also be closed on Friday.
Depending on the severity of the winds, PG&E may restore power late on Thursday evening, if your home has power, the schools may also have power. Please check your email and the district website when power is restored for the latest information on school openings and closures.
Regardless of when the power is lost, school will remain in session for today, Wednesday, October 9th. The District will be able to feed students lunch and transport them home on buses as usual. Please note that the buses may run a little late due to the power outage affecting street lights.
