Semester Grades. Students will be able to check Schoology over break to see how well they did in their classes. Please note, overall semester grades may not be finalized until Jan 7th. We will be mailing out report cards shortly after the grades close.

PSAT Results. The results of the PSAT from October are now available. Students received a hard copy of their results and can also find their results in their CollegeBoard portal. In addition, I attached the instructions for syncing your PSAT scores with Khan academy for individualized areas of study to improve your score.

Sat Feb 1. Latino Role Model Conference. Cabrillo is hosting a free, 9am-1:30pm conference for students 6th grade and up and their parents. Come hear

Junior Year Courses. I met with sophomores earlier this semester to start the conversation regarding Junior Year Courses. Over break is a great time to start this conversation as a family because when we get back to school, students will be selecting initial course selections in their English classes.  I will then follow up with meeting times available for students and parents starting at the beginning of February to finalize student selections. Parents, we will also map out the second half of high school and possible college/career plans. more information to come after the break.

It is good to see how well sophomores are doing. So many of you are rising to the challenges and I am proud of you. Parents, you have a great group of young people who are interesting, capable, growth minded and fun. Enjoy your time together over the break.
Happy Holidays!!
