From the Senior Counselor - SEP INSTRUCTIONS

Dear Seniors,

So now that you no longer need to do the SEP to graduate, the decision is up to you. Some of you have already indicated that you are still planning on finishing your SEPs and others have told me just the opposite. I have additional instructions for those of you that are still planning to submit.

Instructions for the Senior Exit Portfolio
If you are not doing the SEP: You don't need to do anything else. You might want to tell your friend who hasn't read their emails. Up to you.

If you are doing the SEP: Please send me an email indicating that you are planning on turning yours in. We are letting your mentors off the hook too. If you have any further questions, you can send them directly to myself, Ms. Kelly, Charlotte, Ms. Winters or Mr Calden. We prefer that you submit online and here are some instructions for how to do that: Online Submission. If you are planning to submit a physical product I will be at school on Monday, April 13th and you can submit your portfolio on the bench in front of the counseling office from 9-11am. Please make sure to have all pieces labeled with your name.

Other Important News for Seniors
For those of you who have now heard from all your colleges:
I am attaching an email I got from the College Essay Guy which has lots of good info for those of you navigating the college admissions process in our current Covid19 shelter in place life. If you are deciding which college to go to, what to do about being waitlisted, what to do about the financial aid offers, and fun things to do during a pandemic!  please check out the College Guy attachment below. It is a great resource for navigating all this in a crazy time.

I do want to end with a quote from the college guy because I want all my seniors to hear this:

Your worth does not depend on which college did or didn’t accept you. There is so much more to life, and you, than this.

You are an amazing group of young people and I am so proud of you and all you are doing. Hang in there, Be Kind, BSafe,
