From the Senior Counselor 10/17/20

Hi all-

 

Hope this email finds you well & starting to cool off from this heat wave! I know it has been a rough start to the year, but I am so proud of how hard this freshman class is already working to make the best of it. I am here for you, even from afar! 

 

Just a few updates I wanted to be sure to share with you: 

 

Cabrillo Dual Enrollment, Spring 2021. Interested in taking a Cabrillo College class this spring semester? The application is now open! Please see attached for a list of courses that Cabrillo recommends for High School students. I also attached the Dual Enrollment Form that outlines the necessary steps to make this happen!

 

Upcoming Events. On Monday, when you do your Monday Special Assignment, check out the Upcoming Events folder I added. There are some great college exploration opportunities to consider in the upcoming few weeks such as, Colleges In Colorado, Colleges that Change Lives, and Cabrillo College's College & Career Virtual Fair. It's never too early to start doing some research.

 

Grades Close for Grading Period. Grades close on Friday Oct 30 for this first progress report. Please make sure you are keeping up with your classes! Don't forget to attend the after lunch academic support if needed! If you are assigned, it is part of your school day.
