From the Junior Counselor - Happy Halloween!

Greetings Juniors and parental units,

Hoping you are doing okay and ready for a spooky and different kind of Halloween.
In case you weren't aware today is the last day to get in work for the first progress report. While these are not permanent grades, they do give us an idea of where you are in each of your classes and will hopefully be a wake up call for some of you. There's still time to get grades on track.

This is a perfect time for us to have our official junior meetings. I will be zooming with students for 20 minute meetings to talk about:
1. Current grades
2. This year's classes and what you will need to take next year
3. Post-secondary plans-college/majors/careers/and more
4. How the heck are you? And how are you surviving the challenges of distance learning?

All that in a quick 20 minute check in. I am looking forward to just seeing your faces for a few minutes and catching up. Parents, this is my time to catch up with students. If we need to have an additional meeting with all of us to talk about academic concerns, please let me know.

What you need to do: Sign up for your meeting time on leslieburns.youcanbook.me
Fill out the Junior counseling meeting prep sheet by making a copy and filling out the attached google form. This will also be part of your next Monday Special and I will also put all this information in the Monday Special.

Try to choose a time when you know you won't be in class or won't be required to be on zoom with your teacher.
Looking forward to seeing you all soon,
