Special Spring Break Newsletter with Information for Three Important Items

• We need the Chromebooks back from the Juniors - Starting Monday!
• Next week is the last week of our current schedule
• A and B Groups for Hybrid School are Set 

Juniors: We NEED those CHROMEBOOKS you used for TESTING BACK!

Other Schools in our District Need those Chromebooks to do testing.

The Library will be open each day this week from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm to return them.

The Admin Office will take returns from 2:00 - 3:30 pm each day this week.

MONDAY IS A GREAT DAY TO RETURN YOUR CHROMEBOOK AS YOU DON'T HAVE CLASS.

You have all day to do your Monday Specials - so Juniors - return those Chromebooks.  Don't wait!

Next Week is the Last Week on the Bell Schedule We Have Used All Year.

Monday is a Monday Special and then we have O / E / O / E.

Beginning on April 20th, ALL STUDENTS will be online in the morning with the new schedule at the bottom of this email.

That week Freshmen ONLY who have chosen the Hybrid Program will come to after lunch LIVE CLASSES using the same schedule below.

The Next Week, beginning on April 27th, all students who have chosen the Hybrid Program will come to after lunch LIVE CLASSES.

Remember - Everyone is still doing online classes in the morning.  Those who chose to stay ONLINE ONLY will have work posted in Schoology by your teacher each day for you to work on in the afternoon.

A / B Hybrid Groups

Over 90% of families have now turned in their choice for the Hybrid Program or the Online Only program.

If you have not entered your choice for Hybrid or Online Only into the online form or contacted the school about your choice via phone or email, you have been placed in the Hybrid Program.

This is because it is much easier to move you out to Online Only, then to move you into Hybrid.  If you did not make a choice and do not wish to be in the Hybrid program, email me at [email protected] and I will move you into the Online Only program.  

I have split the students enrolled in the Hybrid Program into A and B groups.

For nearly all of you, it is simple.  

If your last name begins with a letter between A and K, you are in A Group.

If your last name begins with a letter between L and Z, you are in B Group. 

BUT - there are some students who have been moved to the other groups for a specific reason.

• Transportation Issues
• Keeping members of the same household in the same group
• Students who have conflicts with their group assignment and a Cabrillo or Off-Campus CTE course.
• And finally, some students were moved because moving them balanced the schedule of more than one class.

If you are not in the group that you alphabetically should be - You will get an Email to let you know.

Secondary Hybrid Schedule - Everyone no matter which choice of Program is ONLINE in the morning.

Hybrid Students come to school twice a week in the afternoon and work at home or with friends and family the other two days

Online Only Students work at home or with friends and family all four afternoons
