2023-24 Registration Starts May 15th - All Families need to Re-Register for School Each Year

Each year in May, we ask families to sign in and update school registration for the upcoming school year. Each year in May, many families choose to not update their information.  
When school starts, we again ask those who have not yet updated to please update. Each year when school starts, many families again choose not to update.
Every school year we have multiple incidents or situations that occur at school where we need to contact families and they have not updated their registration.
This results in the school calling wrong numbers, numbers that no longer exist, emails that have been changed, mail sent to an old address, and emergency contacts who are no longer available or even deceased.
In a true emergency, or when children are sick or upset, families want to be contacted immediately.  We can't do that if your registration is out of date. 
Below, ALL the information you need to update your registration is provided by our District Office.  It takes about 15 minutes.
You will get an email on May 15th with a link to update registration. Please take that time to ensure that we have the information we need.

As the current school year comes to a close, SLV begins the registration process for the next school year. 
For all families that have a child who is currently enrolled and/or have pre-registered your child at one of the SLV schools, you will receive an email on May 15, 2023. 
The email subject line will be SLVUSD PowerSchool Enrollment (Online Registration) and will be sent from [email protected]powerschool.com. This email will contain a link that will enable you to complete the annual online information update and questionnaire for the 2023-2024 school year. If you do not receive this email on May 15, 2023, please check your spam or junk folder. 
Please note that it is the first parent contact in PowerSchool that will receive the email. If neither parent / guardian receives this email, please contact your child’s school office.

The completion and submission of this form will provide the school site administration the information that is needed to plan for your student’s return in the fall and is required in order to ensure student attendance and proper class placement. Please complete and submit this form upon receipt, or at your earliest convenience. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact your child’s school office.
